Guests say

The Old Cow Barn is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, spaciousness, and welcoming atmosphere. The property offers a generous welcome pack, ample space for families and pets, and is situated in a tranquil setting ideal for exploring South Wales. While some guests encountered issues with maintenance and garden security, the overall experience is positive, with the property providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found the property very clean and welcoming, though there were isolated reports of dead flies and animal hair. The majority of feedback is positive, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions and beaches. However, some guests desired more accessible footpaths for walking without driving.

Guests generally found the property comfortable, with ample space and cosy furnishings. The large enclosed garden and festive decorations added to the comfort for many, although there were suggestions for improvements like anti-slip mats.

The property is equipped with high-end appliances and facilities for both abled and disabled guests. Some guests reported issues with maintenance, such as a noisy washing machine and missing blind, which suggests room for improvement.

The welcome pack is frequently mentioned and highly appreciated, contributing to a thoughtful and hospitable experience. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Our only problem was finding it - directions could be clearer

Andrew is a very friendly and helpful owner, the welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Well equipped for all, abled and disabled, and everything catered for our stay. Only downside was the brightness of outdoor lights shining through the bedroom, maybe blackout curtains for downstairs bedrooms would help for an otherwise peaceful night. Lovely forest/beach walks in the vicinity. Our first but probably not last stay here in Wales, even the rain downpours made it even more appreciable to return to the cosy cottage!!
