The popular seaside village of Allonby is only three miles away, with pubs, ice cream shop and sandwich takeaway shop. The sand and shingle beach has views across the Solway to Scotland and is ideal for dog walking, or just relax and let the children play in the sand and paddle in the water. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth is a 10 min drive away. Maryport is a 15 minute drive with attractions for all the family such as the Lake District Coast Aquarium. There are several golf courses within a few miles. Keswick in the Lake District National Park is only a 40 minute drive. Beach ½ mile. Pub 60 yards.

This is a great house for a family holiday. 4 bedrooms and plenty of room. The master bedroom was great. It had all the utilities you would need, and enen all the little things were covered. I have been to many houses where there is enough cutlery and crockery for a sitting but you need to do the washing up soon after. Not Brambleside, plenty and then some. Plenty of big TVs and accompanying DVDs plus a great games room, fully stocked.The welcome pack was very generous and second to none.Also, very reasonably priced for the week. One of the few places that I would like to return to.

A comfortable, warm and superbly organised house. Ideally located for walks along the Solway Firth.High standard of cleanliness throughout.Just the two of us staying but with lots of generous space would definitely not feel overcrowded with the maximum occupancy of 8.Loved sitting in the conservatory.Spacious enclosed garden for the dog.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the mixed weather.Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this cottage. I have been to many cottages with this site. This cottage is by far far the best We have stayed at and would love to return back to Brambleside with some amazing views nearby and 10 minutes from the sea The only thing was I wish the kitchen had a microwave and air fryer in the big kitchen. For me that would be 11 out of 10 and just perfect. No where else to consider apart Brambleside cottage with great garden area. And if you want to explore the lake district this is the cottage to stay at. This cottage would want you to move there.
