Lodge was a good size but scruffy and in need of a refurbishing. We arrived at 4:00pm after a 5 and a half hour drive to find that the lodge wasn’t ready for us.Once we did enter, cleanliness was an issue, very dusty, spider webs all over. It looked like it hadn’t been used in a while. The shower downstairs leaks and couldn’t be used, for 5 of use this was an issue getting ready in the mornings. Positives, the pools are nice, but dated but we enjoyed them. Staff in the pub and around the pool were lovely and polite. For the money we spent, I was very disappointed in the accommodation.

The place was lovely except for the front steps no railing around and very steep. Had a great time had to go out the back way but didn't cause a problem the gym and the pools were very good and everyone was friendly and helpful

Very good place to stay. The house was comfortable and warm, large enough bedrooms, all appliances were working, all rooms and batjrooms were clean, the park has its own pub with good prices, the pool was warm and has its own sauna, gym is small but acceptable, plenry of space to walk around, a small playground and 2 tennis courts. The beds were comfortable and not squicky, large comfortable sofa in living, 8 person table and all you need in kitchen, including an air fryer. Also, we loved the tap water, very tasty and cold. There aren't many things that were wrong there. The small nagging buts were that we couldn't find a hair dryer in the house, although there was an iron and a hoover, the front door had a bit of dammage and it wasnt locking properly, but I suppose it needn't be due the site being quite safe, the usual lack of net courtains so we couldn't pull the courtains up without all neighbours seeing inside the house, and bedroom doors not being adjusted and lot closing properly, making loud noises every time someone would got to toilet in the night. However , the most annoing thing was the constant noise the heating pump makes, especially during the night. The noise was so annoing and could be heard in all rooms, to the extent that we switched off the heating when we went to bed and the first one to wake up in the night would put it back on. The rest of the plumbing is also very noisy, i suppose due to the water high presure , but the heating was killing our sleep.
