  We’ve hired many a self catering place over the years but you really couldn’t wish for a better bolt hole to spend a week….

  or two! An amazing space for a group of 6-8 people, spacious enclosed garden, perfect if you own a dog and you also want a bit of privacy. Hot tub, garden chairs, loungers, large table to sit and eat at. Inside is a wonderful little rabbit warren downstairs. The bunk beds with separate shower room and loo plus the king bedroom with en-suite is on the ground floor. Upstairs two other bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Downstairs the kitchen is amazingly well stocked with pans, dishes, crock ware cups and glasses. We managed to cook up a roast dinner and had plenty of serving dishes etc to achieve this without any hassle. Biggest dining table you could ask for when self catering for the larger group. TV lounge spacious and very comfortable, two other rooms including a conservatory if you want to peel off from your group for a bit of quiet time. Even a utility room with washer & dryer, airier or pegs and basket if the weather is good to hang your swimming costumes outside on the line provided. Winterton on sea is just delightful, sea, sand dunes and cafés for a cuppa and something to eat after a long beach walk. If you want something less challenging underfoot (the sand dunes can be a bit hard on the ole calf muscles! :0) Sea Palling beach is a short drive with again a lovely sandy beach and café. Norwich, beautiful architecture and shopping plus is a short train ride from Gt Yarmouth if you don’t fancy driving. Evening eating, take aways available nearby and the Fisherman’s Return is a must, generous portions, lots of inside and outside seating with a friendly atmosphere. Finally, Nick the owner gives you all the information you require at the start of your holiday with contact numbers if you have any questions or problems (which we didn’t) lovely guy who deserves a five star review for offering a wonderful place to spend your holidays - thank you Nick

  We have just returned from a lovely week away, the lead up to the holiday the owner was informing us of various things that we might need to know whilst during our stay which was extremely helpful.

  The location of the house is just perfect, few minutes walk to the beach front and the shops there. There’s a shop that’s open til late just round the corner for anything that you may have forgotten. The outdoor seating under cover was great, which meant we could still barbecue and eat outdoors regardless of the weather. We used the hot tub most nights it was such a lovely add on. The kitchen has everything you could need, the freezer space is limited but we made do. The bedrooms on the front of the house could do with black out curtains as the sun would come shining through first thing. There was 10 of us all together and never felt cramped at any point during the week, plenty of bathrooms for all of us. The bedroom and bathroom doors have frosted glass panels in so could see through. The bathroom door especially could do with the glass being covered up. Great Yarmouth is a ten minute drive away. We went to see the seals at Horsey beach which is a 25 minute drive away. We hired a boat for the day on broads again which is 25 minute drive away. The kids room with all the books and toys was a great touch, we didn’t need to bring all the toys to keep the kids entertained. Would highly recommend this house.

  We had a wonderful and supremely relaxing week away at Fallowfield.

  It is an absolutely superb, spacious property and Nick, the owner, was really helpful and responsive. The facilities were perfect in every way and if you have dogs or kids the enclosed garden was brilliant as they could run around to their heart's content and you could sit in the hot tub and watch them too if you liked, make use of the patio furniture or sit in the conservatory. It was minutes to the beach (via some steps) and the beach cafe wasn't far along, the village shop and tea room was lovely and the Fisherman's Return was great too. The owners also put an information booklet in the property to suggest other places to visit and I felt that nothing was too much trouble. It would be great for a large or extended family and there was plenty of parking with two sets of well built gates so you could shuffle cars around if you needed to. It is all very well considered at Fallowfield. We booked the property because our motorhome had a fault but I'm so glad we got to stay at Fallowfield. It was absolutely fantastic.   First impressions was good.

  However, cooker not working after switching on the socket. Mould on bathroom ceiling (this could be rectified by using Ronseal anti mould paint, we know this as we have used it ourselves) and mould on the shower curtain(got photo's if needed). The water was only hot at certain times of the day. Cutlery and glasses had to be washed before use. Fridge was leaking because of the drain hole was blocked, which we cleared. The shelves were dirty in the fridge. Welcome pack didn't have clear information in it for emergencies, i.e. hospital, vets etc... Shower heater was temperamental it was either roasting hot or stone cold, no happy medium. Seat outside broke when sat on it. Blind in living room very heavy for a disabled person to put up. No instructions on where to get card charged as there is no Belle Aire shop that we were aware off.

  I don’t know where to start, this property was exceptional!

  It is in a fantastic location with great sea views and a very short walk to the front and amenities. The house is very spacious in both living and sleeping facilities. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Free fast Wi-fi and cable tv are provided and the kitchen is well fitted with appliances and equipment. Plenty of off road parking for 2 cars, even my large estate car had no problems. The garden has plenty of space for children to play and the hot tub was terrific. There are bikes for both adults and a child provided along with buckets, spades and other children’s toys. You really only need to take your clothes as everything else was provided. We had a fantastic week, 6 adults and a 3 year old child ( stair gates and a low level bed provided) and would not hesitate to recommend it to any one!
