Best dog-friendly beaches in Great Yarmouth

However, restrictions apply from May through September, when dogs are not permitted in the main tourist areas between Britannia Pier and Wellington Pier.
- Caister-on-Sea Beach – Just north of Yarmouth, this wide, sandy beach is dog-friendly all year and has a more relaxed feel.
- Winterton-on-Sea Beach – A local favourite for dog walking, backed by sand dunes and known for its resident seal colony (dogs should stay on leads near the seals).
- Gorleston Beach – South of Yarmouth, this sandy bay is a favourite with families and dog walkers alike. Similar to South Beach, dogs are not allowed on the main stretch between the two piers from May to September.
