  The property is perfectly located for getting everywhere on foot, the beach, golf course, restaurants & takeaways, the pub and local shop are all within a 10 minute stroll, oh and I forgot the train station. We never used our car once in the week we stayed there. There are loads of local walks varying from costal, woodland, heathland and historical. You also have the towns of Sheringham and Cromer that can easily be reached on foot. The property itself has been modernised perfectly with large open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Also the garden is amazing, it's extremely long and our labrador had the time of his life. It's south facing so gets a lot of sun and has two seating / entertaining areas, perfect for eating alfresco. Corrine was the perfect host, she made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel extremely welcome and at home. I think this is definitely the best property we have ever stayed on and we will 100% be going back again.

  Well, what a fabulous week! This house is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and superbly located for a car-free holiday, easily accommodating four adults and two small dogs (who loved the garden). We were blessed with plenty of sunshine so have spent lots of time walking on the beaches. The tide times on the board in the hallway have been so useful in helping us to pick the best time to walk into both Sheringham and Cromer along the sand. Camellia Cottage and Whelks Coppers Tea Room in Sheringham had excellent home made cakes and The Gangway (we tried the one in both Sheringham and in Cromer) was fab for craft beer and ambience. Four minute train journey back from both towns is a definite bonus! For any runners, there are some great routes from the house - thanks to Steven for his recommendations. So much more to see and do - hope to be back next year.

  Brilliant week in Golf Cottage. Corinne and Steve are great hosts. Mixed weather but we made the most of it. Chill out week post A-levels and it has been the perfect spot to do it in. Beach walks, pub lunches and enjoying the garden. Lovely meal at the pub in the village, and nice takeaway from the Thai. Headed to one of our favourites in Salthouse - The Dun Cow - never disappoints. Make sure you visit Byfords in Holt - great pastries and cakes. The fishmonger there does crab and seafood boxes to take away. The cottage really is a home from home and the best we have visited through Norfolk Hideways. We will be back!

  The property would not fit 8 adults comfortably, the upstairs bedrooms are very snug, one hasn’t even got anywhere to put clothes away, just coat hangers hanging on the wall. We are all fairly small and still found the en-suite bathroom very small. The oven was small and there was not enough ‘Pyrex’ like bowls, I have just realised typing this the big one I used during the week was mine anyway from a lasagne I bought with me and I have lleft it at the property forgetting, so at least there is one thing there for that kind of meal.??
