  The property and location were excellent however the radiator in the third bedroom didn't work and never warmed up. This was the bedroom my children slept in (aged 2 and 4) and due to the poor weather, overnight temperatures were around 15 16C which isn't acceptable. We did get in touch with one of the contacts (13 05) who said he couldn't come out until 15 05 but he never turned up and never contacted us again, very poor service. We also noticed that the sealant around the fuse box in the bedroom had split and a draft was coming through. I appreciate you can't do anything about weather conditions but I expect to be able to warm a house up when needed (also worth noting that the thermostat settings changed every couple of hours, mostly set so that the heating didn't come on until the temp dropped to 14C! I would also like to mention that there was no shaving point in the bathroom and there was a significant lack of cleaning materials, plenty of cleaning fluids but just 1 jcloth and 1 scouring sponge which made it difficult to clean up before checking out. We were only provided with 1 additional large bin bag, no smaller bags for the other bins. The property was lovely but the heating issue was a problem as it affected my children who complained about being cold!

  Wyngate was a lovely holiday home for our family as we had one disabled person staying with us and the downstairs bedroom and en suite was well equipped and perfect for her.

  The kitchen/diner was really nicely equipped and set up very modern and a really lovely place to eat as a family. Garden/games room was again an excellent part of our trip despite the cold it was enjoyable and would be used even more if staying over the summer. Location wise this is a dream - 2 minute walk from a park and beach which was lovely for our family and dog. Overall we had a lovely stay slightly too cold the first night but a quick message to the owners and they adjusted the heating without any issues. Would defiantly recommend and stay here again.

  Overall the property was lovely.

  There were a couple of areas that need resolving though. The downstairs shower was leaking all over the floor and into the bedroom. This hadn't been fixed despite a previous guest mentioning the same thing in the guest book. This was extremely disappointing as we had purposely booked this property due to elderly guests unable to climb into bath tubs. The kitchen also lacked some basics such as a blender and collindar.

  This is a fabulous holiday let, very good value for money. It’s really well equipped, lots of parking and the cleanest holiday home I’ve stayed in. I wasn’t sure about the area as I hadn’t stayed here before. However would recommend it. The beach was easily accessible, the village store was very reasonable and a great fish and chip shop! Loved it and would definitely stay there again!

  We absolutely loved the white rabbit — very quirky.

  It’s not for everyone, it’s a low cost structure (not quite a trailer, but a prefab house design). However, they have done it up w a lot of artistry and soul, the energy is really good and it’s all upcycled materials so it aligns w my values. You can walk to the beach and the neighbours are lovely. We saw hundreds of seals and had a fantastic time.
