  We had a lovely stay at Cobwebs Cottage :-) All the positives included: - lovely location, very close to some gorgeous beaches and nice places to eat.

  - the cottage layout was fab - great size sofa to come back to an chill, so many other cottages have small, uncomfortable sofas, not here, it was definitely a plus! - great shed which we used to store our mountain bikes. - secluded garden and front drive was closed off so our dog could roam free without worry - lovely horse riders right outside the front door, which added to the feel of the place. Constructive feedback for potential improvements: - a blind really is needed for the window to the upstairs bedroom. - the TV is mounted very high up would definitely be more suited lower down if at all possible as it did get a little uncomfortable trying to watch it in the evening. - log supply for the first night wasn’t enough, for us personally we use a lot at home as the log burner is quite the feature to relax with, and I think there were 4 logs when we arrived which wouldn’t have seen us through. We decided to use the radiators as our main heating source which seemed very effective. - the upstairs bedroom did get very warm and that was even in April, so a fan would be useful, especially for those staying in the summer months. All in all, it was a really great place to stay, we enjoyed it very much.

  It's all about the views, which really are stunning.

  Also high quality furniture / furnishings & well equipped. Ideally located for the high street & beach. And did I mention the views?! Unfortunately that's where it ends. It's location is also it's main downfall, it's on a busy noisy street - don't expect an early night or a lay in, I just couldn't relax fully & left a day early (the 6:45 AM window cleaner was the final straw - thought it was burglars they were making so much noise!!). Clearly there's been some money spent on the property a few years ago, but it's starting to look a little tired in places (carpets/bathroom) & the levels of cleanliness are below standard (could write in the dust in places!!), especially in the current COVID climate where the hand sanitiser hadn't even been refilled. As much as I loved the views I wouldn't return or recommend this property. If you are going to go, a couple of little tips - take some decent ear plugs & also plenty of change if you plan to use the multi-storey car park as it only accepts coins.

  We have just returned from a 2 week stay at cobwebs.

  Positives were, a really well equipped cottage which was clean and comfortable. There was a lovely outside seating area outside. The garden was private and secure for our little dog. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was great. We’ve had terrible ones in the past so it was lovely to have a good one. It was a lovely area and not too far from shops. Not many negatives to be honest, the fridge freezer is a ok, but very little room in the freezer. Our first week was a little chilly and we couldn’t figure out the heating. It was ok though not terrible. We didn’t have children with us, but in my humble opinion I don’t think that the mezzanine was a practical area, but that’s just my opinion. Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend Cobwebs.

  A wonderful stay at Cobwebs!

  The cottage is perfectly equipped for a stay in beautiful Pembrokeshire. In an ideal location for exploring the area. The cottage is well appointed and has everything that you’ll need for your stay. It is comfortable and well finished throughout. A great size garden that our dog was very happy and safe to relax in. As other reviews have mentioned, a little more TLC on the garden would make this place even better. Completely out of the control of the cottage, but the neighbouring house is home to a particularly noisy cockerel which was a daily alarm clock form circa 5.30am so unfortunately this spoilt the relaxation Cobwebs would otherwise provide. Very much recommended - but don’t forget to pack earplugs!

  My wife and l enjoyed this apartment immensely.

  It was so comfortable and convenient for all the amenities and the views were absolutely stunning. The only drawback for me was, as I suffer from extreme arthritis, l could not open the key vaults or the main building door to get out. We both have had difficulty with the key vaults in all the Sykes Cottages we have stayed in so far, so l could never stay on my own. What did amaze us, is that the owners have thought of everything to ensure that their clients have a wonderful experience in this apartment, so many gadgets for every need. Excellently thought out and very a pleasurable stay in this apartment.
