St Aidans Cottage is one of the Bamburgh First Collection, a converted sandstone farm building, located in the hamlet of Dukesfield, only a short drive to the popular seaside village of Bamburgh in Northumberland.

It is set within shared landscape grounds with a fenced off paddock area. It is over two floors with open plan living space and 3 bedrooms. Outside there is a shared garden area, perfect for al fresco dining.

Guests also have access to the Gathering Place, where they can relax with a book, play games, or have a go at table tennis. Guests also have access to a shared tennis court, children’s play area and hot tub - exclusively available to all guests of Bamburgh First properties at Dukesfield. 

Northumberland is steeped in history with many imposing castles to explore including Alnwick Castle made famous by the Harry Potter movies and the striking Bamburgh Castle built high on a rocky outcrop. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse.

First floor:

Bedroom 2: Twin beds, bedside table, lamp and wardrobe.

Bedroom 3: Small 4ft double (snug double or spacious single), vanity console, wardrobe, bedside table and lamp. Countryside views.

Bathroom: Bath, WC and washbasin.

Entertainment: Flat screen TVs (lounge and master bedroom - Netflix in the lounge). BOSE speaker, multi device charger.

For families: Travel cot, highchair and stargate available on request (please note, we do not supply a mattress or bed linen for the cot).

Outside: Shared courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue, shared grassy enclosed paddock.

Parking: Parking available.

Pets: Pets welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.
