  A well proportioned and appointed property. Plenty of space in the living areas downstairs. Main lights allow for good lighting while the lamps allow for a cosier setting in the evenings. The bedrooms have been designed to make best use of the space considering being built into the roof space. The skylights are a welcome addition upstairs allowing for natural light making this a beautiful space. GCH and a good shower were a welcome plus after a long day exploring and rainy days as was the convenience of the washing machine. It was also a pleasant surprise to find that the house was only a 20 minute stroll from our favourite pub and brewery on the broads The Fur and Feather at Woodfordes Brewery. Exploring the broads and surrounding areas from Salhouse was perfect. Thank you for providing us with lovely stay

  We felt welcome from the moment we arrived with the thoughtful treats left for us by the owners. This cottage is like a tardis and although looks small from the roadside, was lovely, bright and spacious inside. It was spotlessly clean with very effective dishwasher and washing machine to make self catering as easy as possible. The cottage is superbly equipped and had everything we needed throughout our week’s stay. The location is great, with the conveniences of Norwich and beauty of the Broads close by. Lovely pubs for evening meals in Coltishall. There is a lovely shop and cafe right next door and it was lovely to be able to indulge in beautiful coffees and cakes so easily! We feel this cottage is a real find and can’t wait to return. 5 stars from us.

  Fantastic place to stay, everything we needed.

  Small and compact but we knew that and with three adults it was just fine. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had all we needed to make this a very enjoyable place to stay. Despite the weather which was pretty bad we still managed to walk over 40 miles and when we got back we could get everything dry and ready to go again the next day. Banham Zoo was right next door and well worth the visit. The only difficulty was with the WiFi while on site but as soon as we got to the car mobile data picked up so getting directions was never a problem and we always take maps anyway. If you were reliant on WiFi you might struggle, thankfully we're not.

  Our stay in Shamrock Cottage was wonderful and we felt very much at home. The cottage is very cosy (beware the low ceilings if you are tall though!) and very well equipped with anything one might need. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden with the table where we often had our tea in the morning and afternoon. Hindringham itself doesn't offer a lot (though you can take lovely walks to the church and Hindringham Hall), but here is more than enough to do and see quite close by (lots of flyers and brochures have been provided by the owner of the cottage). We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next holiday in Norfolk!

  A separate shower room was a factor in us booking this cottage as my wife has difficulty in using showers over a bath, especially if there are no grab handles or slip mat as in this case. The shower room could not be used as the tiles were falling off the wall and the was a notice that we were not to use the shower. Mould surrounded the window in the front room and its curtains were hanging off the rail making it impossible to close them at night. The interior of the upstairs front window was covered in dirt/mould. Has this property ever been cleaned?
