This spacious bungalow with off-road parking is in an excellent location in Seahouses. Leave the car and stroll to the bustling harbour, sandy beach, all the village shops, bars and restaurants, the golf course, crazy golf and the glorious coast path. Wander around the harbour and book a boat tour to the Farne Islands to see grey seal colonies, and a huge assortment of bird life, including puffin families in the season. Head to Beadnell Bay’s stunning beach (3 miles) for walks, water sports, picnics and rock pooling, and there is a beachside café, a café/bistro and two pub/restaurants in the village. Explore Bamburgh Castle, the Grace Darling Museum, beach and renowned village restaurants (3.5 miles). Discover Alnwick Castle and Gardens, (15 miles), cross the causeway for a day on Lindisfarne’s Holy Island (19.5 miles), and explore the Cheviot Hills from Wooler (19 miles).
Enter the front door and into the hallway of this spacious and welcoming single-storey property, where you can store your outdoor clothing and shoes. Head through to the light and airy lounge where you will find comfortable seating to relax on and a Smart TV and Sky for entertainment. There is a lovely seating area in front of the glazed sliding doors which open to the garden for outside/inside living in the warmer months. The large dining area/family room is just off the lounge with a dining table where you can enjoy family mealtimes, and more comfortable seating set out in front of the electric flame-effect fire. Here you can snuggle up and watch TV. This bright and airy room also has large windows allowing natural light to flood in and a view of the garden. The well-equipped kitchen is laid out in a quirky, retro-style with everything you need to prepare tasty meals and drinks. At bedtime, you will find the two bedrooms off the main hallway: a super-king-size and a double bedroom, each with plenty of built-in storage space. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and features a shower over the ‘p’-shaped bath
Outside to the rear, six shallow steps lead to the generous, enclosed lawned garden. There is a patio area with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ for fun al fresco meals and drinks and a fire pit where you can cosy up to watch the evening sunsets and do a bit of dark-sky stargazing.
