Thoroughly enjoyed our week in the cottage. You can see the sea at the bottom of the garden which was lovely. The summerhouse in the photo is no longer there and the log burner is now an electric log burner. The kitchen is well equipped, clean, with washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs provided. I was able to reach the top shelves of the cupboards (I’m 5’4”). The only thing missing was a baking sheet. The glass dish provided was adequate however it filled half of the slim dishwasher. The living room is spacious and the conservatory lovely to sit in, it also has electric log effect fire to warm it. It’s a short walk to Seahouses or the small road down the side (where the drive is) turns into a footpath to a school, through an estate for a longer walk. A gate to enclose the drive would be an improvement and the shower isn’t very powerful so took ages to rinse my hair.

the cotttage was clean and tidy it does require a little work but in the main not bad only complaint was the parking bay at the rear of the house is very tight for an suv about 6 inches off each side to give a better openining for todays cars the area is quiet and the bed was a bit soft other than this it was a lovely holidaay would recomend for a family of four would be back if suggestions of opening the parking bay a bit wider as parked on main road

Not a pleasant property to stay in other than the location. We only stayed 3 nights out of 7 as the kitchen and bathroom were grimy, it was all in a bad state of repair and there was a funny smell throughout the bungalow, we bought air fresheners and surface spray but it was just dirty! Felt like nobody was listening when I tried to complain so made the decision to find somewhere else. This property needs a lot of money spending on it to be in a fit state to be rented out. We have spent similar money on other properties that have all been amazing so just don’t understand how they can justify renting it out.
