  The accommodation was small but sufficient just for the 2 of us. The steps up to the apartment were steep and I could image that this may prove difficult for the less able. We visited in October so a light outside the main door or at the bottom of the hall would have been useful to access the apartment. Parking is in the main car park in Beer, just a short walk and we were able to park outside just to load and unload our luggage. Beer was a lovely place to stay with enough cafes, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. On the whole we had a great few days.

  This is a very well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage. The decor is beautiful and well thought out providing ample space for a group/family of 6. The cute garden is a lovely little hideaway too. The parking (off peak) is great, It is in a wonderful location, 10 minute walk to the local shops and pubs and a 15 minute walk to the beach. If you get the chance it’s worth getting to the beach for the sunrise. All the locals were very friendly and helpful. If this cottage ever came up for sale I snatch the owners hand off.

  Very close to centre of Beer and easy access to main roads for daytrips to other locations such as Torquay,lyme Regis, Sidmouth , Seaton and Weymouth. Parking pass provided for large car park centre of Beer and no problem in getting a space. Parking outside property is legal 6pm-9am and for loading and unloading. Bed linen was exceptionally clean and cottage was extremely well equipped. We had a relaxing 10 days. Electrical appliances were to a high standard i.e. washing machine, dishwasher, etc.

  The Lace Shop was the perfect location for our adult family holiday being close to the centre of the village and beach. It has quite steep stairs so maybe not so suitable for young children. We also had 2 dogs and found the garden perfect for them as well as the nearby footpaths. The property is well maintained and has a lot of cooking equipment compared to other holiday rentals we have used. All of us left Beer feeling very relaxed and would recommend the cottage to our family and friends.

  The Gallery was a lovely property for our long weekend stay, 4 adults and 2 young teens happily fitted into the space. Beer itself is a lovely village, but unfortunately many restaurants were closed due to being out of season so options for eating out were limited to one mediocre pub. This was a real shame as we'd gone to celebrate 3 birthdays, and ended up having to cook for ourselves. That being said the fishmonger at the beach has plenty of delicious fresh fish.
