  Wonderful cottage that suited our needs for a base to explore Norfolk. Everything we needed for our stay, we didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen was very well equipped with lots of baking trays and cookware, these are often overlooked in other places I’ve stayed in. Tesco delivery to the cottage was straightforward.Internet connection very good. Easy instructions for appliances. We were blessed with good weather but there was a good selection of board games and books.Garden was well enclosed and although the neighbours were in close proximity we didn’t feel overlooked when using the hot tub. Local village a quick walk and flat which suited my mobility issues. Butchers and local shop plus a good sized playground for children and good food at the pub. Would also recommended the Dog for food just a few minutes drive away. Great location for the Broads, 10 minute drive into Wroxham for boat trips and more shops and amenities. We found the closest beach to be Sea Palling (20 minute drive) lovely sandy beach with life guards, not too busy and dogs allowed on a good section. Excellent fish and chips at the Beach Rock Bistro and the kids enjoyed the milkshakes. Bed linen and towels good quality, my only suggestion would be to provide other towels for use with the hot tub as I didn’t pack extra (my fault) and I didn’t want to ruin the white towels provided for that purpose. We are not dog owners and there was a distinct smell of dog on arrival, despite being cleaned but after a few days airing it out it dissipated and wasn’t a huge problem for us. Also, as previously mentioned, lots of cobwebs but again not a huge problem and adds to the cottage character. Overall, a wonderful, spacious holiday cottage, we would be happy to stay here again if visiting the area in future.

  We are so disappointed in the decline of this property having stayed here for the last 3 years. The whole house is dirty and grubby! All soft furnishings need a good wash - living rugs were disgusting, the cushions were brown and the sofa needs cleaning. There’s a massive problem with the bins not being emptied (despite stickers on all bins stating they need changing to ‘trade’ and not being done) the bins are full of maggots and flies which have descended into the house and causing havoc. To make things worse my husband had a rat running around his feet as he sat out one evening. The neighbour continues to be aggressive and vile. Her dogs constantly barking and throughout the night. Not only bellowing at her dogs but also at ours who was being attacked through the fence by one of her three dogs (who bark excessively at any movement or sound)We are so so so disappointed in the rapid decline in this property.

  This lovely clean comfortable spacious house is central to the town centre and beach in Great Yarmouth. It has everything and I mean everything from washing machine ,dishwasher to childrens toys ( even dog toys) The living room has really comfortable chairs and sofas (not some horrible, hard sofa bed ). Nice comfortable beds . At the risk of sounding whimsical, this house is up a passage way in a normal residential area. You walk through a gate in the wall in to a walled garden (suntrap)There is a small lovely country cottage garden and in front of you what I imagine a fairytale woodland cottage would look like. It's an upside down house with wooden doors, floor and furniture . There are stained glass windows and so many charming features. The spiral wooden staircase follows a wooden beam ( some caution required) I just thought it was just charming and a little bit magical. I loved it.

  View is amazing, close to amenities. The bungalow needs a deep clean. We stayed here 18 months ago and it has definitely gone down hill. Only one side of the grill works, plates bowels are chipped. No wine or pint glasses in the property. Bathroom light cord is broken. I'm 5.2 the shower has to be pulled on from the top of the cord. Some thing I could not have done if alone. Rip on the quilt cover. Washing line needs to be replaces as covered in cobwebs. The neighbour next door has got a reactive dog, she has 3 dogs in total constantly barking. I fulling understand her frustration as there as different dogs there each week, which does not make for a relaxing holiday with dogs. As then my dogs would react to her dogs. A closed in fence or screening would greatly hell this. We would not book or recommend staying here until the property has been sorted out.The place needs to be loved.

  A lovely little rose between a few thorns! Pluses, close to the seafront and the main pedestrianised walk, everything about the property very good quality and very comfortable, plus very welcome extras in the fridge, thank you! Loads of towels, loo rolls, etc. I could quite happily live here! Minuses, a bit tricky to park if your car is larger than a small family estate, and nowhere for visitors to park. It’s tucked away in a slightly shabby area, but easy to forget once you’re inside. The outside space is small, just outside the front door with a nice gate, perfect for my two elderly cockapoos to have a sniff around, especially if like us you’re going to be spending much of the day out and about. Overall I loved it, we had a lovely short break. (Annoyingly the to remote batteries gave up on my last day, couldn’t find any spares).I will definitely book again x
