Best dog-friendly beaches in Ireland
- Inch Beach, County Kerry – A vast stretch of golden sand on the Dingle Peninsula, perfect for long seaside walks. During the high season (June 1st - September 15th), dogs must be kept on a lead in the Blue Flag area between 11am and 7pm. Outside of this area, dogs are allowed to stretch their legs!
- Curracloe Beach, County Wexford – Famous for its appearance in Saving Private Ryan, this beach is perfect for any film fanatics. On this beach, your four-legged friends must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Lahinch Beach, County Clare – A lively surf spot on the Wild Atlantic Way with wide sands ideal for dogs. During the summer season, dogs are not permitted on the beach between 11am and 6pm.
- Dog's Bay,County Galway – A stunning horseshoe-shaped beach with soft white sand, dogs are welcomed all year round with no restrictions.
