  We have just arrived home after spending February half term at the stunning Beesoni Lodge.

  As soon as we walked into this beautiful property, we absolutely loved it. The lay out worked perfectly for our family - My family of 4, my in-laws and my Mum. So much space, plenty of seating in the cosy lounge and around the large kitchen table, and having the 3 bathrooms was really useful. The property was so warm and cosy. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was lovely, especially first thing in the morning! I think this is the best equipped holiday house we have ever stayed in. There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, including everything to bake a cake! We didn't make use of this, but very handy if you need to make a birthday cake while you are away! The utility room was also very useful, and we made use of the washing machine to save taking a mountain of washing home. The garden that Beesoni Lodge sits in is really lovely, although we couldn't really make full use of it due to the time of year that we visited. It would be beautiful in the Summer, to sit outside and enjoy the BBQ. Plenty of outside seating, plus extra stored in the utility room. The location is perfect for visiting lots of places. Croome Nation Trust is just 20 minutes away, Upton on Severn and Malvern just a short drive. The bigger towns of Worcester and Gloucester only a 30 minute drive. So much to do nearby, although you would be happy to stay in and not go out as the property is just so lovely! A really lovely, chilled family holiday in a beautifully location. Thank you Laura for letting us stay in your beautiful property, and for the easy communication and assistance offered. I would have chosen 6 stars but there wasn't that option!

  We've just enjoyed a second stay in Stubb Oak as we love it.

  It feels like a home from home, relaxing , clean and amazingly well stocked. The beds are super comfy too and the owners really have thought of everything that you might need during your stay. 2 lounges, each with a smart TV too, so plenty of space for 6 people The gardens are large, secure and well equipped with garden furniture enabling you to enjoy a drinks and food outside The bird feeders attract so many different species and watching the badgers come to feed at dusk is wonderful Parking for 4 cars on the drives too is a real bonus The location in Colwall is great as you can visit so many places either on foot, for example a 6 mile return trip to The Kettle Sings across the fields and hills and the food is lovely, as are the spectacular views from the cafe, or by car to Ledbury, Symonds Yat, Upton upon Severn, Tewkesbury and Worcester. There is a train station too with connections to Birmingham and the West Midlands. There is a small convenience store in Colwall for essentials and newspapers within walking distance There are so many walks to do in the Malvern Hills, a wonderful theatre and cinema in Great Malvern, plus plenty of eateries and a waitrose. Highly recommend Stubb Oak for a relaxing break if you love an outdoors holiday in beautiful British countryside no matter what the weather is doing

  We have stopped at this property seven times now!

  Partly because we visit friends that live in Ledbury, but having found this particular cottage, it offers us absolutely everything we need and having a dog that suffers with anxiety and is also reactive to other dogs, returning to the same place is beneficial in removing some of his stress. The cottage is roomy offering us plenty of space for our family to join us and stop over with us for a few nights, along with our friends joining us for the evening for a get together and a takeaway! Plenty of parking available with the two driveways for all our cars! A great entrance room ideal for muddy paws and wet coats!! Everything is so well appointed when I come down to the cottage it really feels like coming home!! There’s so much to do out and about but if you don’t go out, you can be perfectly happy relaxing watching the birds and cheeky squirrels scurrying around in the garden. Also lovely to see the nightly visit by the badgers.

  From arrival to departure the holiday was really enjoyable.

  The hosts were very accommodating and answered any questions promptly and effectively. The property was as described, and though a little remote, it was situated as expected, and within east reach of many popular and outstanding destinations. A grocery delivery on the night if arrival helped with cutting down on luggage and the lack of immediate shops - although there is one within a 10 minute journey. Be careful on the long windy roads when meeting local traffic and horses! Being regular travellers we are not always easy to please, but this accommodation and area was remarkably pleasant. All in all, absolutely no complaints. One very minor observation would be the gravel driveway and step into the house is a tad difficult for a mobility scooter, but is in no way an insurmountable problem.

  We absolutely loved the property - bungalow, garden and outlook.

  The moment I walked in and looked around I fell in love with it, wanted to stay there forever! There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only suggestion I would make is to let people know in advance a bit more detail as to what is there: for example, I texted and asked whether there was a cafetière and a hairdryer but didn't get a response (there are two cafetières, and a hairdryer in each bedroom). Also, we only discovered the binoculars (in a storage footstool) as we were tidying up to leave: we would have used these to watch the birds and wildlife had we known about them. But these are minor details, the property is fantastic: if you want tranquillity, outdoor space and indoor comfort, this is the place to go.
