The large enclosed garden and the opportunity for walks directly from the property are frequently mentioned highlights. While there are minor comments on the need for maintenance and larger cooking pans, the overall experience is described as peaceful, idyllic, and perfect for family or friends getaways.
The cottage is generally described as clean, neat, and tidy. However, a few guests mentioned that parts of the cottage appeared tired and in need of fresh paint, and there were some comments about stains on the living room carpet and a sofa needing a clean. These isolated instances suggest a high standard of cleanliness with room for minor improvements.
The location is consistently praised for its beauty, peacefulness, and convenience for exploring the Dorset countryside. Guests appreciate the rural setting and the proximity to walking paths. The difficulty in finding the property is noted, but it does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, with a special mention of the garden for relaxation. Some concerns were raised about the suitability of the property for elderly guests due to uneven floors and staircases, and a desire for more comfortable outdoor furniture. Overall, the comfort level is high with a few areas for enhancement.
The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a special mention of the kitchen's utensils and crockery. However, guests have suggested improvements such as larger pans for cooking for groups, better Wi-Fi, and functioning smart speakers. There is also a mention of the need for a recycling system. These points indicate good facilities with some maintenance and upgrade needs.
While guests have expressed overall satisfaction with their stay, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

Absolutely idyllic cottage. We had the best few days celebrating my "big" birthday with the family. Location couldn't have been better and cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. Communication very good and we requested and were allowed an earlier arrival time which was much appreciated.
