For a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside, head east to Cromer (15.5 miles) or head 2 miles north to Blakeney to jump aboard a boat trip to Blakeney Point to spot the resident seal colonies. The wonderful Georgian town of Holt, home to independent boutiques and art galleries, can be reached within 5.5 miles.
