The family bathroom is located on the ground floor, complete with a bath for easing aching muscles after a day of walking, yet you’ll also find a handy first-floor WC alongside three bedrooms on the first floor.

When you do wish to head out, jump in the car to discover plenty to see and do close by. Popular Yorkshire towns of Settle (9 miles) and Skipton (16.5 miles) are easy to reach, each with historic stone architecture and a regular market. For an awe-inspiring outdoor excursion, head to Malham (13 miles) where you can park up and explore plenty of picturesque spots, including Malham Cove, Janets Foss and Gordale Scar.
