Nearby, visit the historic market town of Hexham or the Roman town of Corbridge and meander round its boutique shops, art galleries and antique shops, stop for a coffee or take a stroll along the river. Locally there is an abundance of eateries to choose from. For the golf enthusiast, Close House Golf Course is just a 25-minute drive away. For a day at the races, Hexham racecourse is just 15 minutes’ away. Great location, parking on green not on site. Shared yard which was awkward with the dog. Disturbing noise overnight in second bedroom, some sound like boiling water and clattering, very little rest. Nice cottage though, would suit some people better than others.

Lovely accommodation - new, well appointed, comfy and very clean. Great location for us, just 10 minutes into Hexham and 20 minutes to the heart of Hadrians Wall country.
