Conveniently located comfortable holiday accommodation. Ideal for 3 adults, might be tight for 5 guests sharing one bathroom, but ground floor cloakroom very handy. Very peaceful surroundings, and brilliant to be able to step out of the front door to go on local walks or to explore the town. Would appreciate a non-slip mat in the bath for safe showering and a hand towel in the kitchen, or one for each guest. Sorry the property may not be available after 2027... might have to book it for early next year!

The Garth is an exceptionally comfortable and well-located cottage in Helmsley. It is in a very quiet street yet only a 5 minute walk into town The beds and lounge seating are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.Helmsley itself is a lovely market town. The Brewery tap is a great place for a drink (the beers are very tasty) and the Feathers does a smashing Sunday Roast. There's some lovely walks on the doorstep - it's always worth a stroll past Duncombe Park and the Bird of Prey centre. Hopefully will be back again
