Tucked away just off the main square in a delightful courtyard location, this ground floor holiday apartment combines its original features with the comforts of modern living and the advantage of a designated car parking space directly outside. We have a small area outside with a bench seat for catching the sun. It lies within the centre of Grassington, which has a wide selection of country shops, pubs and restaurants, and makes an ideal base from which to walk or tour the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park. In June Grassington plays host to a Music and Arts Festival which draws a wide variety of well known performers and in September Grassington hosts a 1940’s weekend. December brings the Christmas market to the village. The bustling market town of Skipton with its Norman castle, canal trips and golf course can be reached within 10 miles. Nearby there are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and individual shops selling a wide variety of local treasures, as well as a post office and supermarket and a bus service to get you back. Alternatively, for those who enjoy a spa experience, Long Ashes, 1.5miles away, offers an indoor swimming pool and beauty therapy. National Trust properties and sites are a short drive away.

This was our 2nd time at staying at the Old Milverton, and had a very comfort stay again. Old Milverton is a lovely apartment, it as everything you need and very clean. A lovely welcome hamper was left on our arrival and treats for the dogs, both very much appreciated, thank you. It also as its own parking space which is a big plus and hidden just off the main street of Grassington. Local shops and pubs are within a couple of minutes walk from the property . We had several gorgeous meals at The Devonshire , the service and atmosphere was excellent.Old Milverton is an excellent base for local walks ie from Grassington to Hebden, Burnsall etc.Thank you again for lovely stay.

We stayed at Old Milverton in December and had a wonderful time. The accommodation has everything needed, from a very comfy bed and sofas to well equipped kitchen. Not that much cooking was done (if any) as Grassington has plenty of places to eat and drink along with lovely independent shops. The location of Old Milverton just off the Market Square is out of the way so even when Grassington is busy it's a lovely quiet oasis. Grassington itself is superb, and even though it rained while we were there it made the Yorkshire Dales even more spectacular, with plenty of walks straight from the door. Old Milverton is looked after by the owners which we thought you could tell, as there was a lot of attention to detail and was very clean. We met Michelle who was lovely and very helpful. We would love to stay again but it is very much booked up for 2026!

We stayed at Old Milvertin last year just before Christmas. We loved it so much then that we booked straight away to return over this Christmas. It was really lovely to be back there and the location was excellent once again. We were just around the corner from all the amenities, which we appreciated them being on hand. Also you feel as though you are in your own little Christmas village which is idyllic. We love the fact that you can go on the many glorious dog walks and take in the fabulous scenery. It truly was a relaxing holiday away from the chaos of Christmas. Most importantly though the owners go that extra mile to make your stay extra special, including a much appreciated welcome pack full of goodies. We would definitely be returning, highly recommended and gave it 5 stars.
