This traditional, detached stone cottage set within the owners’ 17-acre grounds offers beautiful views over the surrounding Perthshire countryside. Situated all on one level except for a small step into the living room from the hall, its three bedrooms and three bathrooms make it a great choice for families or groups of friends. With high ceilings, an open plan living space and a cosy wood burner, this welcoming cottage is the perfect spot to unwind. Outside the attractive patio offers plenty of room for sitting out and relaxing, leading onto a lovely small lawn, the owners’ vegetable garden and boasting great views of the adjacent fields, hills and woodlands. Wildlife abounds with red squirrels, fallow deer, hare and endless birds on the property, and pine martens can be seen from a nearby local hide.
With a plethora of walks and cycle paths waiting to be explored nearby, including the Cateran Trail, your holiday can be as relaxing or as energetic as you like. The village of Kirkmichael is only a couple of miles away with two pubs, a local shop and tearoom. Pitlochry is 10 miles away with shops, eateries, salmon ladder and festival theatre - a very popular venue which hosts a wide range of productions throughout the year.
The lively towns of Blairgowrie, Perth and Dundee (home of Captain Scott’s ship ’Discovery’) are within easy reach, along with the skiing resort of Glenshee, the largest ski area in Scotland. Beyond Glenshee is Braemar, home to the famous Braemar Gathering, a key event in the Scottish Highland Games calendar and one attended by Her Majesty the Queen every year. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

A lovely warm and cosy cottage in a beautiful, quiet area of Scotland. Ideally located for Glenshee Ski Centre and some stunning local walks. Friendly and attentive owners on hand should you need them.

Inverchroskie is lovely cottage in a beautiful area with welcoming and helpful hosts. There is plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen/dining/living area is cosy and there was a plentiful supply of logs for the woodburner, and a good supply DVDs and games to keep people entertained. The kitchen is well equipt; the only issue, for me, being the distinct shortage of cupboard space for provisions (and no bread bin) which, for a week's stay, is a miss. Other than that, I have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay in a cosy, dog friendly cottage, in a lovely area. I would happily return.
