The lovely market town of Helmsley provides excellent shops for day to day requirements, Rievaulx Abbey and the National Park Information Centre are within easy reach.

Great cottage , just looks a little tried needs a good paint and a bit of updating . Think salt and pepper should be provided. If you visit in the winter coal and wood are very expensive to keep the wood burner going for heating on top of cottage price. Hosts are wonderful and helpful and just such a wonderful quiet location with walks on your door step .
