A warm, cosy cottage, well located for exploring the Lake District. Also dog friendly. We appreciated the dog blanket after our dog was sick on her crate blanket. There was also plenty of hot water.

Had a lovely week at this cottage. Beautifully decorated, well equipped, comfy beds. Biscuits, prosecco and dog blanket, bowl and treats were a lovely touch. The only thing we were disappointed with was 'the garden'. The garden was actually the parking for the cottage and the cottage next-door. We didn't mind it not being secure for our dog but the only place you can sit out is the raised area were the barbecue is. Apart from that, we were really enjoyed our stay.
