Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Freezer (shared). 200 acre grounds (shared with other properties on site). No smoking. Please note: Owner will advise where guests are free to walk (dairy farm). There is a solar water heating system.. Orchard Cottage (ref UKC4300) is the perfect choice for a family holiday or couples’ escape at any time of year. This delightful, spacious cottage has a large bedroom with kingsize bed and twin room with zip and link beds and oak floors and downstairs there is a large living space with underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner to curl up beside on a chilly evening. The pretty garden with lovely views is perfect to enjoy an al fresco supper. Situated alongside Gardener’s Cottage and within the owners’ dairy farm and 200 acres of farmland where guests are welcome to walk (restrictions apply when cattle are grazing).

It has a large bedroom with kingsize bed and oak floors and downstairs there is a pretty living space with underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner to enjoy. The pretty courtyard garden is perfect to enjoy a lazy breakfast whilst you plan your day. Both cottages benefit from a solar water heating system. Farm activities can be arranged, including feeding the calves and watching the cows being milked.
Just 4 miles from the breathtaking North Devon coast with many dog friendly beaches, stunning coastal path, hidden coves, wide sandy beaches and excellent surfing, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and magnificent scenery. The rugged beauty of Bucks Mills and Peppercombe beaches are a short drive and 6 miles from the Blue Flag beach at Westward Ho! which is popular with surfers and renowned for its beauty and has 2 miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay.
The delightful port town of Bideford, 3 miles, has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants and a weekly market. Take a boat trip to the nature reserve at Lundy Island or explore many pretty fishing villages including nearby Clovelly, Instow and Appledore. Walkers can join the coastal path or why not cycle or walk the famous Tarka Trail? For garden lovers, nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill are a must. Golf, horse riding and fishing are available locally and for family fun The Ultimate Adventure, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure parks are close by.
