This lovely semi-detached cottage is ideally located just off the high street in the Perthshire town of Auchterarder. Famous for its mile long high street, you are within walking distance to the many fine cafes, restaurants, bars, award winning butchers, delis, bakeries, independent shops and boutiques. The accommodation is all on one level and consists of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a family bathroom, a tastefully furnished kitchen/dining room and an immaculately presented living room. Rossie Cottage is perfect for families, friends and couples who are wanting to explore the area.
The local area is surrounded by beautiful scenery and countryside, and there are many outdoor activities to suit all tastes, including walking, cycling, mountain biking and fishing. For days out you can visit Stirling, just over a 30-minute drive, with its historic castle, the National Wallace Monument, the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre, riverside walks, shopping centre and plenty of places to eat.
For those looking for a golfing holiday, then Auchterarder Golf Course and the famous championship Gleneagles Golf Course are close by, as well as several other excellent golf courses in the area. There are several whisky distilleries where you can see the distilling and sample a dram including The Famous Grouse. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is just over a 30-minute drive, where you can explore the spectacular countryside. Families will enjoy a trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park and Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre. A great location for friends and family visiting students at Stirling University, or attending one of the graduation ceremonies.
Crieff and Perth are only a short drive away, and you are just over an hour’s drive to the heart of Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you prefer to leave the car behind, then the local railway station provides links to all major towns and cities, and there is a regular bus service from the high street. Beach 33 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
Auchterarder has now got a fabulous park, a new pump track and a smaller track for children to display their cycling skills. The park is a 10 min walk from cottage and is situated at the top off the town.

A fabulous little cottage, conveniently located in close proximity to the well-provisioned high street in Auchterarder, though feeling like a little oasis of comfort and relaxation hidden just out of sight. Very well-presented and well-equipped accommodation ideally situated for exploring the Highlands. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.
