A wonderful semi-detached cottage, set in a courtyard location, one of five on-site in Dorset’s Wey Valley, close to Weymouth. This luxury holiday home boasts a superb open plan living area, where you will be immediately drawn to the lovely high vaulted ceiling, then to the delightful open plan living area. This area features a fitted kitchen, a welcoming sitting area and a dining area, and also on the ground floor is a modern bathroom and two zip/link king-size double bedrooms. Up on the first floor is another king-size double bedroom, and all bedrooms have the bonus of Smart TVs. Open up the glass doors to your own private patio, or venture out to the shared garden with views to farmland. A beautiful cottage with plenty to see and do in the area. The picturesque village of Upwey lies just four miles north of Weymouth, nestling beneath the Dorset Ridgeway, and takes its name from the shallow chalk stream, the River Wey, which bubbles up here from an underground spring. Upwey is well-known for its Wishing Well, where George III once sought the benefits of the natural spring water. It is now a delightful tea room, serving lunches and traditional cream teas. There are a number of footpaths leading directly from the village to miles of unspoilt countryside, and close by is the market town of Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s ’Casterbridge’. An easy drive or bus ride takes you to the popular seaside resort of Weymouth offering visitors glorious golden sandy beaches, excellent watersports facilities and a bustling harbour. An attractive village location and an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

everything was perfect! The high ceiling as you enter the property is stunning . The patio outside and the private garden are all well kept. This is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding countryside. We had wonderful days out at Durdle door, Lulworth Cove and Lyme Regis. I would highly recommend this property. The kitchen is well equipped with every modern convienance. We had a wonderful holiday here!

The people could not have been nicer . We would suggest that one of the bathrooms has some hand bars as one of our group was infirm ,also an anti slip mat in the shower/bath . The place was clean and well set out . Great holiday place , thanks to all . My grandson (2) loved it !!
