Guests say

Y Beudy offers stunning views of the Welsh countryside and mountains, providing a peaceful and well-located base for exploring North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula. Guests appreciate the spacious layout, powerful showers, and secure garden, making it ideal for families and dog owners. While the cottage is generally comfortable and well-equipped, several reviews note that it would benefit from improved cleanliness, maintenance, and some thoughtful touches. The owner is responsive and helpful, ensuring guests' needs are addressed promptly.

Cleanliness is a recurring concern, with multiple guests mentioning cobwebs, dust, stained carpets and sofas, and insufficient deep cleaning. While some found the property acceptably clean, many felt it needed more attention, especially in hard-to-reach areas and the utility room.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and towns. Guests consistently highlight the peaceful rural setting and easy access to the coast and Snowdonia.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with good beds, heating, and spacious living areas. However, some mention uncomfortable or worn mattresses, thin bedding, and occasional issues with heating regulation, which slightly detract from overall comfort.

Facilities are appreciated, including powerful showers, underfloor heating, and a secure garden. However, several reviews mention maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, unreliable Wi-Fi, and the need for more kitchenware and general repairs, indicating room for improvement.

Many guests note the absence of welcome packs, starter supplies, and clear instructions for appliances. While the owner is helpful and responsive, thoughtful extras such as gifts or welcome notes are not guaranteed and are often missed by guests.

Just needs a bit of attention and lots of spiders and the webs need clearing. It says there’s WiFi on the spec but there wasn’t and phone signal was mixed depending on your network
