About this property
This superb cottage has everything that you need to make your holiday an enjoyable one. After parking your car you enter into an extended open plan living area, with a kitchen which is well-equipped. From the kitchen is a dining area and a cosy sitting area, where views of the open countryside can be admired, maybe whilst you sip on a morning coffee before venturing out for the day. Up on the first floor are three bedrooms and separate to them is a bathroom. Outside there are three garden areas that you can sit in, with the raised lawned area to the front boasting wonderful country views. A lovely holiday home that you'll want to return to time and again. Note: This property is next to Ref. 955054, together they sleep 10.
The village of Far Sawrey has a Post Office/store and pub/restaurant. Bowness, with all its shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, is just a short distance across the lake by ferry. Also close by is 'Hill Top', once the home of Beatrix Potter, and Hawkshead with its picturesque 17th century cottages.

We cannot rate this cottage highly enough! Just returned after our week at Glenside, we are an outdoor loving family of four, plus our rescue dog, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. The property is so very beautiful, with everything you could need, a real home from home and very deserving of itâs Sykes award! Great kitchen and bathrooms, and incredibly comfortable furniture and beds, fantastic after a day on the fells bagging Wainwrights! Superb location, close to Hawkshead for shops and Lake Windermere just down the road. Hilltop within walking distance was an added bonus. One of the best bits for us though had to be the views from the front of the cottage! The owners are very welcoming and kind, the goodies on arrival were a lovely touch. We also loved how they championed local businesses by including them within the cottage and also taking the time to write up information on each of the products. Weâve stayed in the Lakes area many times, but for us this cottage was by the far the best and we are already planning to return!
