This delightful cottage has been lovingly decorated throughout to offer comfort and quality for friends and families wishing to explore this undiscovered part of Ireland. A well-equipped fitted kitchen caters for all your culinary needs with a small dining area to enjoy your breakfast. For more social meals and gatherings, there is a spacious dining room, the perfect space to enjoy a special evening together. After a long day walking, cycling and exploring lovely Leitrim, you can curl up and relax in the cosy sitting room, complete with a gas fire for extra comfort. Three comfortable bedrooms and a shower room complete the accommodation at this cottage, where you can enjoy the most peaceful nights rest you have ever had! As you step outside, you will find a well-maintained garden and a sheltered patio with furniture and a barbecue where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining on those sunny evenings! The small, rural village of Aughavas makes for a lovely touring base, with plenty of attractions for all ages within easy reach, and is ideal for fishermen with plenty of lakes to choose from, including Lough Rinn and Lough Gowna. Close by are the borders of Longford and Cavan, two undiscovered and glorious counties. Just half an hours drive away is the vibrant town of Carrick-on-Shannon, known as Irelands cruising capital, which has a picturesque marina and a wonderful choice of pubs, eateries and shops. The small village of Aughavas is situated in South county Leitrim just nine miles from the town of Mohill. Aughavas provides a wonderful location to immerse yourself in peace and quiet with plenty of woodland areas and lush green countryside around you. The village takes its name from the waterfall on the stream which still flows down near the local church.
