The house overlooks the beautiful valley of Clashduff with the majestic Mount Leinster in the distance and farm land at the rear. It is located 1.5 hours’ drive from Dublin and Rosslare. Guests will avail of a beautiful interior with original art and pottery, polished wooden floors and bespoke doors, giving the house character. Modern comforts include professional cleaning and fresh linen. Boasting three reception rooms; the stylish sitting room offers a woodburning stove at its centre, with a television and views over the valley, whilst the second sitting room boasts a plethora of books and a traditional open fire, making it the perfect spot to spend a moment to yourself away from the excitement of the group. Spend formal moments together in the sunny dining room where you can enjoy a homemade meal, while the kitchen offers a lovely spot for more casual moments such as a hearty breakfast before the day's adventures. The kitchen offers a good range of modern appliances, there is an impressive range cooker letting you whip up a meal in no time, with a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. All of the four bedrooms can be found spaced out along the hallway, made up of a family room with all of a double, single and a cot, this room is perfect for those travelling with little ones, with the addition of a television for relaxing evenings in with a film. The master bedroom features a double bed also with a TV, boasting its own en-suite shower room, while the last two bedrooms also feature double beds, offering a lovely sleeping spot for every guest, the impressive family bathroom serving each. The gardener keeps the garden beautifully manicured with mature trees and shrubs to attract wildlife. The front lawns catch the sun in the morning. The terrace offers a space to sip your coffee or afternoon tea while gazing at the view. The back lawn offers late afternoon sun, privately overlooking farmland. Venture into the pretty town of Castlecomer, home to the Dinnin, Deen and Cloghogue Rivers. There is an 18-hole golf course. The Discovery Park includes forest walks, Irelands' longest over-water zip line, tree top adventure course, playground, trampoline, an elf and fairy village, a climbing wall, archery, fishing, a mining museum, arts and crafts offering attractions and amenities to suit all ages. The Lady Ann gourmet restaurant in the newly refurbished Creamery Manor House is managed by Michelin, recommended chef Keith Boyle. The chic Avalon House offers formal and pub dining, several cafes and bars will welcome you for breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks. There are plenty of local shops to pick up your own fresh ingredients. Kilkenny is just 12 miles away. You will pass the Dunmore Caves where the Vikings raided the local community and the beautiful Jenkinstown Wood where the river meanders through the valley.
