We were given a free pass so didn’t have to pay anything and we went twice. Also a stones throw from Portmagee although probably would need to drive or cycle as about a mile I would say of country lanes. Marie our host was lovely. They own the farm and live in the adjoining property however use a different drive way so still had our privacy. We came with 2 big dogs and there was just enough space for the dogs and and put family of 6.

Marie’s home was clean and homely, she was in the adjoining house and extremely friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The views and location were incredible. Walking to Portmagee would be a stretch but it was a simple few minutes in the car. A nearby beach was a firm favourite for a wild swim and dog walks. Cliffs of Kerry included and incredible. The rooms are small and furniture dated but comfortable enough, however if 8 guests were staying as listed with up to four dogs it would feel very different- kitchen table seats 6 max. Plus hot water hit and miss with two, however electric shower always available. Electricity is extra cost on the meter at the end of your stay. We had a lovely stay as part of our Wild Atlantic Way touring trip.

Loved the location and it is was a good price for the week I rented. I did found the rooms rather cramped - not much room to move around the beds, and three sofas in the sitting room. While some supplies of crockery and utensils were good, you would be a bit short of some things (eg side plates and bowls) if there more than 4 of you! Feel it would be better trying to cater for maximum of 5 or 6 guests, and having a little more space in bedrooms and sitting rooms. As others have said, you do noed to pay for electricity used - it was just under £15 the week I was there which was just for hot water, lighting and two loads in washing machine. In winter, there is an open fire in sitting room but the other heating is electric.
