The cottage is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with many visitors highlighting the relaxing environment and proximity to local attractions. While a few guests noted areas for improvement such as the shower, mattresses, and some furnishings, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it an ideal spot for a restful break in the Irish countryside.
Most guests found the property clean and comfortable, with several reviews specifically mentioning cleanliness. However, a small number of guests reported issues such as mould in the shower, dirty furniture, and the need for deeper cleaning in some areas. These isolated incidents slightly lower the overall impression.

Guests appreciate the tranquillity, the presence of farm animals, and the sense of being close to nature. The only minor drawback mentioned is the need for transport to access nearby towns.
The cottage is generally described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with many guests enjoying the beds, lounge, and fireplace. Some guests, however, noted issues with the sofa, mattresses, and occasional noise from the adjoining property, which slightly affects the overall comfort rating.
The property is well-equipped for short stays, with a good kitchen, heating, and fireplace. Some guests mentioned limited TV channels, poor WiFi, and the need for updates to the shower and some furnishings. A few also noted missing items such as board games or kitchenware, but overall facilities meet most guests' needs.
The hosts are frequently described as exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, often providing local recommendations and ensuring guests feel at home. While some guests mention thoughtful touches, such as wood for the fire or a coffee machine, please note that such gifts or extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage was clean, well equipped with plenty of cutlery and plates as well as comfortable chairs. The bed was also very comfortable. I would have loved to stay longer. Only drawback was the occasional loud noises from the adjoining property.

Willie gave us a warm welcome and was happy to help if needed. The property met our needs as before. Convenient for visiting relatives. A beautiful view across the valley and River Bride. I'm sure we'll be back sometime.
