Glenties 7.5 miles. The chances to truly get away from it all are few and far between, so this character cottage, set in the glorious Bluestack Mountains offers a rare opportunity to holiday in the beautiful County Donegal countryside without another house in sight. Enjoy the splendid setting in this single-storey Glenties cottage, which has been renovated to a high standard. The sitting room has original stone flags, stone walling and woodburning stove, plus this Glenties cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Spend time exploring the area with walking or mountain biking along the Bluestack Way, which runs just across the river at the bottom of the drive, or relax by fishing in the river itself. To the north of this Glenties cottage is the town of Ardara, and the town of Glenties, which offers pubs, shops and restaurants, plus to the south is Donegal Town. Whatever your day brings, enjoy an evening in front of the woodburning stove with the family or a loved one, before retiring to the tastefully decorated bedrooms to recharge your batteries before another day in your Glenties cottage.

Glenties is a small town in County Donegal offering shops and pubs. Close by is the Owenea and Stranaglough rivers, which are known for their salmon fishing and good walking can be enjoyed in the Bluestack Mountains and Bluestack Way. Glenties is an ideal base perfect for exploring the delightful Donegal countryside.
