Hare Lodge at Rookery Waters offers a tranquil and picturesque setting for a relaxing stay, with clean and well-laid-out accommodation. Guests have enjoyed the proximity to fishing lakes, the helpfulness of the staff, and the delightful walks in the surrounding green spaces. The on-site cafe is praised for its breakfast and coffee. Some minor road maintenance before the property is suggested.
Guests consistently mention the cleanliness of the accommodation, describing it as 'very clean'. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is appreciated for its lovely views and tranquillity, ideal for a quiet break. The presence of a lake and green spaces adds to the charm, although there is a note about road subsidence nearby.
The stay is described as comfortable with a lovely view and a relaxing atmosphere. However, there is a suggestion to fix or replace the sofas, indicating some room for improvement in comfort.
While the reviews mention a cafe with great breakfast and a fishing tackle shop, there is insufficient information to fully assess the range of facilities and their maintenance. The mention of road subsidence suggests some maintenance issues, but it's unclear if this pertains to the property's facilities.
The provision of a welcome pack with beer and cookies is a thoughtful touch, appreciated by guests. However, it should be noted that such gestures are a bonus and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
