Heron’s Nest is a stunning, first floor apartment with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the owner’s lake in the shared grounds, the perfect spot for dining al-fresco or enjoying a glass of wine after exploring all the Cotswolds has to offer.
Inside, the property features a well-furnished and cosy open plan living space, with stunning views to be enjoyed from the huge glass windows. Set all on the first floor, there is a lovely double bedroom and a separate shower room also. The apartment is situated on the owner’s private grounds and offers a real sense of peace and quiet, however you are just a 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with its lovely riverside pubs, shops and restaurants. Stunning Cotswolds villages can be reached by car in under 30 minutes, as can the larger, historic town of Cheltenham. The city of Oxford can be reached in under an hour and is sure to make for a busy day out. Please note that although there is a lake on-site, there is no fishing available at this property. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Lovely peaceful place to stay,apartment got everything you need nice to have Netflix too,spent hours sat on balcony watching the wildlife,we feel totally relaxed after our stay.Enjoyed the walks around the grounds.Definitely coming again 🙂

Marvellous accommodation. I had no idea how bustling Bourton-on-the-Water would be, but the Heron's Nest is tucked away just far enough from the main village to be perfectly peaceful. Still just a short walk from everything too. I used it as a base for some Cotswolds' exploring during my week. I was travelling alone, but it's spaciously set out for two..... everything you require in the kitchen, should you want to self-cater although there are eateries in the village for every taste.Clean and modern bathroom, comfortable living room (which also features the kitchenette), with Sky tv. French windows opening out to the glorious view of the lake. Spent time watching the wildlife: swans, rabbits, foxes, badgers, bats..... even saw a heron.Would absolutely recommend and in fact am planning a return visit.
