The cottage retains many classic and attractive features making it a delightful choice for a Cotswold holiday. The owners have overseen the transformation introducing some modern and contemporary features such as a wood burning stove and underfloor heating which enhance the appeal of the cottage. The cottage, which is tucked down a 'no through' lane, has a lovely garden, just perfect for outdoor dining. This is a high standard holiday cottage in a very attractive village.
Set within the Cotswolds aonb is this peaceful and friendly village. Bordered by the River Coln and surrounded by refreshing green countryside, Coln St Aldwyns is a fine base for visitors to the area. You will find a Grade II* listed church as well as a handy shop and a highly-rated gastro pub, the New Inn. The chocolate-box village of Bibury is just a couple of miles away, known for its rows of quaint stone cottages and surrounding greenery. Slightly further afield is the striking market town of Cirencester, laced with attractive buildings and varying attractions.

The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The little extra touches are very much appreciated. The location is beautiful with lovely walks from the doorstep and having The New Inn just a minute up the road is definitely a bonus! No doubt we would love to return and highly recommend.

Beautiful location. Loved the little touches within the cottage and dog friendly style. Very warm and loved the underfloor heating. Loved the small touches such as torches and night lights, really thoughtful and the kids settled nicely. Quickly discovered the boost on the hot water and all was fine for 4 showers. We would love to come back for a longer stay and found kitchen facilities good. Front room TV kind of obsolete can't even get BBC but this is fine as there is a smart TV in the snug at the back. Our only small suggestion would be that the patio is really slippery due to I guess north facing garden and moss growth, an accident waiting to happen could do with a jet wash to avoid this.

Such a bonus have such an amazing pub on the doorstep that serves delicious food with great service. Such beautiful sky at night due to no light pollution whatsoever, an abundance of stars. Really magical. Very relaxing time !
