Tetbury offers a variety of unique shops, including Highgrove Shop, the profits of which are donated to The Prince of Wales' Charitable Foundation. Retaining a wealth of character within its ancient streets, Tetbury’s origins date all the way back to 681. During the Middle Ages, the town flourished as one of the major market towns for The Cotswolds Wool Trade, and even now The Market Hall is still home to a busy general market, which takes place every Wednesday. The town as a whole is something of a mecca for antique hunters, featuring several shops in the town centre, and regular fairs in its vicinity. Tetbury makes the perfect, relaxing base for exploring the Cotswolds, all year round!
