The cottage is praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and welcoming touches such as a bottle of wine. While some guests find the location slightly remote and the facilities in need of minor improvements, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests found Robins Nest to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. There were no significant complaints regarding cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is appreciated for its quietness and rural charm, though some guests expressed a preference for being closer to Matlock. The proximity to local attractions and the ability to walk to Cromford are noted positives.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, particularly highlighting the warm atmosphere during colder weather. However, there were comments about the sofa and chair being somewhat uncomfortable, suggesting room for improvement.

The cottage is generally well-equipped, but there are mentions of maintenance issues such as the gas hob being difficult to light and the absence of a guest comment book. The lack of a hose for cleaning dogs' paws was also noted.

Lovely cottage just a little bit too far out for us with a dog. Being November it was very wet and muddy for any walks probably nice thru the summer months. I would have liked to be more in the middle of Matlock. No were to wash the dogs paws and tummy could do with a hose pipe .
