The majority of guests found Robins Nest to be clean and tidy, with several positive remarks about its upkeep. There were no significant complaints about cleanliness, suggesting a high standard is maintained.

The location is generally praised for its quiet, rural setting and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests found it a bit too far from the centre of Matlock and noted the approach road can be challenging, which slightly affects the score.

The cottage is well-equipped with modern appliances and guests have appreciated the amenities provided. However, there were comments about the lack of a hose for dog washing, issues with the gas hob, and the absence of an instruction manual, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

The only damper was the weather, but it was February after all! We got a very warm welcome (the heating had to be turned down) including a bottle of wine (its a shame we are teetotal!!). The cottage was cosy, snug, compact & bijou, it had everything we could have wished for.We hope to use it again in the future.
