Lovely cottage with park to walk dog behind. Not many shops in vicinity although 2 supermarkets nearby, lots of pubs and takeaways/restaurants. Found the fact that the people in the gate house are just the other side of doors in kitchen and upstairs lounge a bit off putting as could hear them talking quite clearly and their rooms are above the downstairs bedroom and you can hear them walking about. Glad to have the terrace garden to sit in as weather was hot but had to put the bins over the open access so the dog could come out, could do with a gate to make it secure. Overall a nice cottage and plenty to do within 30 minutes drive.

We stayed here on holiday for a week beginning of July. The cottage was immaculate, spotless with everything provided that you could possibly need. A great deal of thought had gone into the furnishings and decor. Michael the owner was very helpful advising of places to visit both within walking distance and a short car journey away. Locals living nearby were friendly and welcomed our dog who really enjoyed his holiday!
