An incredibly cosy cottage which is located on the edge of the village of Hartshorne, Derbyshire, with the added bonus of being just a stone's throw from an award-wining pub which is home to a 250-year old mill wheel which is still turning! Comfortable and welcoming throughout to provide lovely holiday accommodation, this Derbyshire cottage is the ideal retreat for couples looking for a varied stay in this diverse part of the East Midlands. With a warming woodburning stove, wooden floors and views to the rear of the National Forest, this Hartshorne holiday cottage offers a lovely escape throughout the year. Outside Mill Wheel Cottage is a small courtyard with countryside views, ideal for an alfresco drink, whatever time of the day. With plenty of facilities within easy reach, wonderful walks, Staunton Harold House with its garden centre and cafe, Snibston Discovery Park and Calke Abbey just a short drive away, this is a wonderful base for a varied break. A little further away are the delights of the Peak District, Shugborough Estate, Drayton Manor and Alton Towers, for the thrill-seekers. This is a wonderful Derbyshire cottage to enjoy together all through the year!
