Enjoying a superb location in the National Forest within 4-acres of grounds which include formal gardens, a lake, courtyard woods and a separate paddock, as well as an interior boasting exceptional attention to detail and luxury furnishings, Boothorpe Hall is an outstanding dwelling for a large family get together or a getaway with friends in complete luxury. Step into the open reception hall, where you will find four stunning formal period rooms overlooking the lawns, where you can relax with your favourite tipple in style after your journey. Whether it’s recounting the day's adventures in the ample sitting room or celebrating your superb surroundings with a celebratory bottle of fizz in the beautiful drawing room, there is a room to suit everyone in this grand abode! While the designated chef prepares dinner in one of two fully-equipped kitchens, featuring a cold room and pantry for storing ingredients, you can explore the remaining rooms which include a garden room, study, a morning room, a cellar, and a spa/gym where you can pamper yourself after day of adventures in steam room and sauna. Head outside, where you can follow the steps down from the sun terrace to explore the ample grounds and soak up the last of the day’s rays. Completing the ground floor is a utility room for your convenience, perfect for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh! Climb the grand staircase leading up to the first floor, where guests are well-catered for with 13 opulent double bedrooms, two of which boast their own en-suites, whilst the remaining bedrooms are served by four lavish bathrooms with bath and shower, perfect for relaxing in style after your adventures. Explore your local surroundings, where just a short drive away, you will find the welcoming Black Lion, where you can treat your loved ones to a tasty meal and sample the local ales. For a wider selection of amenities, continue on to Woodville, where you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants, takeaways and a well-stocked convenience store for picking up any last-minute essentials. The former mining town of Swadlincote rests nearby, here you can tour the Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, picnic in the picturesque Swadlincote Woodlands and Park, test out your swing at the Swadlincote Family Golf Centre or enjoy the thrills of Swadlincote Snowsports Centre. Woodville is a lovely suburban village resting between Swadlincote and Blackforby. The village is well-known for its rich industrial heritage and offers a small selection of attractions including pottery, crate-making, breweries and rope-making. Dining options include No.33 Restaurant and Bar, Bombay Spice and The Joiners Arms, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby convenience store. Just outside of the village is the former mining town of Swadlincote, here you can find further attractions and amenities, including Swadlincote Snowsports Centre, Swadlincote Woodlands and Park, Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, The Railway Inn and The 50’s American Diner.
