Follow the private tarmac road through woodland up to the water’s edge around to the 1800s cottage. It has been known for guests not to enter the house for a few hours and to simply sit, relax and enjoy the views in the quintessentially English garden.
Much thought and care has been put into maintaining the character of this period building, whilst equipping it for modern living. The standard is one of high quality with extreme comfort. All rooms enjoy unsurpassed views, and the unique Revesby Estate theme runs through the cottage with Estate artefacts.
This home features a kitchen that is well-equipped with modern day appliances and ample counter space. The dining room has a table and six chairs. The living room offers a log-burning stove adding a touch of cosy ambience. Upstairs you’ll find a bathroom with shower and bath for choice and convenience. The master bedroom boasts king-size bed and soft linen, alongside two additional bedrooms with twin beds and a single bed, all with built-in wardrobes and bedside tables, and hairdryers are provided for added convenience.
Within the local area, there is much to do for all generations and interests, from the country’s most important WW2 airfield museums, seaside fun to historic castles and mansions.

Had a lovely relaxing week at Bankside Cottage. It’s really secluded and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. Lovely views over the reservoir, which is nice to walk round too. Cottage has everything you would need, and plenty of space. We got a takeaway from Coningsby and supermarket shop in Horncastle. Lincoln, Boston and Skegness all less than an hour away. Would stay again in back in the area.

Stayed here to welcome in the New year, what a find! This place provides total relaxation with stunning views and complete seclusion. The sofas and beds were very comfortable, just what you need after a day walking. The cottage is very well stocked and the Wi-Fi very reliable providing smooth streaming for the apps on the TV, something for any aged viewer. Soak up the history too with all the artefacts displayed within. Don’t forget your pooch, even your four legged companion is provided for, see their satisfaction after a long day’s exercise, resting in front of the fire. The hosts let you enjoy all there is but are immediately on hand should you need them. Cannot wait to return, well done Jo and team.
