We have just spent 7 nights here over Christmas and it was absolutely amazing. The Old Stables is a fantastic cottage, lovely and cosy and spacious. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The underfloor heating and log burner meant we were never cold. The hot tub was great and nice and private. Nice big secure garden for our dog to play in. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook a feast on Christmas Day! Louise was a fantastic host, very friendly and left us some sparkling wine and some Christmas treats to enjoy. We will 100% be returning in the near future. Thanks Louise for making our Christmas so special.

We felt that this cottage was very over priced for what was on offer. The only views were of a fence and the surrounding properties and the cottage was smaller than expected, quite cramped and echoed throughout due to lack of soft furnishings. There was one small single wardrobe with 5 coat hangers to be shared by 2 bedrooms. Issues we raised with the owner were resolved quickly but we felt that they should not have arisen in the first place. Towels were of poor quality. There were ill fitting single curtains in each bedroom and no blinds in the bathrooms or kitchen. We received a number of texts from the owner during the week when all we wanted was to get away from everything. We left a day early.
