While some find the road noise and cottage quirks challenging, the charm and helpfulness of the hosts, along with the cottage's amenities, contribute to a pleasant experience overall.

Cleanliness

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-presented, with only a few noting areas that could benefit from additional attention. The positive remarks on cleanliness from the majority suggest a high standard is typically maintained.

Location

The cottage's location is praised for its proximity to local amenities and attractions, with easy parking and a town within walking distance. However, some guests noted the traffic noise due to its position on a busy road, which impacted the score.

Comfort

Guests frequently complimented the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere of the cottage. Some concerns were raised about the comfort of the sofas and the impact of road noise on relaxation, but overall, the comfort level was deemed satisfactory.

Facilities

The cottage is well-equipped for a holiday stay, with a well-received bathroom and kitchen essentials. However, comments about the need for modernisation, the absence of a washing machine, and some maintenance issues suggest room for improvement in this area.
