This pet friendly, detached barn conversion is the perfect retreat for walkers and cyclists, with routes available straight from the door. Situated on a country lane (no through road), this property enjoys some of the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets and is close to the market town of Horncastle, which is also well known for its antique and collectables shops. The Georgian market town of Louth is just 10 miles away and still has three markets a week, as well as boutique shops and cafés. To the east are the year round dog friendly sandy beaches at the traditional seaside resort of Skegness and the city of Lincoln, which is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre is a 30-minute drive to the west. The battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away, where the planes can often be spotted over The Lincolnshire Wolds. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Me, my dog and my best friend spent 5 days at Dale view. A lovely warm welcome awaits you and your furry pet. This is the first place I have ever stayed that is so dog friendly. 🐕 Lynne was so welcoming and popped in for a chat when we arrived. Lovely location, nice and peaceful. Plenty of walks and only 30 minutes from the beach. Nothing was to much trouble and I can not think of anything that needs improving. We did have a power cut on 1 of our nights, a power grid issue, however Lynne had thought of everything and we had access to torches and we were kept updated on progress of electronic coming back on. I would recommend Dale View. Beautiful place. Thank you.

We arrived to a very warm and informative reception by the owner a very pleasant lady. The generous supplies and welcome gifts for both us and our furry member was fantastic. Walks straight from the cottage /barn. Views from the patio doors are beautiful and far stretching and we didn’t need anything it was all supplied. If eating out a small drive can find different eating places. Overall a comfortable friendly clean cottage thank you to the owners
