Situated on a country lane (no through road), this property enjoys some of the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets and is close to the market town of Horncastle, which is also well known for its antique and collectables shops. The Georgian market town of Louth is just 10 miles away and still has three markets a week, as well as boutique shops and cafés. To the east are the year round dog friendly sandy beaches at the traditional seaside resort of Skegness and the city of Lincoln, which is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre is a 30-minute drive to the west. The battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away, where the planes can often be spotted over The Lincolnshire Wolds. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

We loved Dale Barn View it was cosy warm and very comfortable and had everything you needed, very spacious and dog friendly. Lynne our host was very welcoming and friendly, even supplying a welcome gift for our dogs. We would highly recommend this property and stay there again.

We have just returned from our second stay here. It is an oasis of calm and space with big sky or rolling countryside views. It’s ideal for relaxing, walking and recharging. The beaches are about 30 minutes away and so worth the drive. Long expansive sandy beaches stretching far as the eye can see, you will have them virtually to yourself.The property is cosy, clean, warm and well equipped. As importantly for us is that this property is truly dog welcoming, not just dog tolerant. So there are dog treats, spare bowls, blankets, towels and throws. The owner is a dog lover, so your dog is welcomed just as much as you. The big skies, great sunsets, tranquility, countryside, beaches and well appointed dog welcoming property make the perfect combination.
