Jolls Cottage is praised for its charming blend of old and new, with a well-stocked kitchen, cosy living room, and a secure garden that delights both pets and owners. The property's location is ideal for exploring the beach and woods, and the addition of a 'man cave' and hot tub are appreciated. Some guests noted steep stairs and a dog odour in the lounge, but overall, the cottage is celebrated for its homely feel and well-equipped amenities.
Most guests found Jolls Cottage to be spotlessly clean, though one review mentioned the need for more thorough cleaning and another noted a dog odour in the lounge. The majority of feedback, however, reflects a high standard of cleanliness.
The location of Jolls Cottage is highly praised for its quiet hamlet setting, proximity to the beach and woods, and stunning views. It serves as an excellent base for exploring Lincolnshire's offerings.
Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a particularly cosy living room and comfortable sofa. However, some guests mentioned difficulties with the stairs and one found the bed uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the comfort score.
The facilities at Jolls Cottage, including the kitchen, garden, and hot tub, are well-received. However, some guests reported issues with heating, hot tub maintenance, and garden lighting, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
The presence of welcome gifts, a well-stocked playhouse, and thoughtful touches like a coffee maker suggest a high level of thoughtfulness. While these gifts are warmly mentioned, it's important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

We had an absolutely amazing week, this cottage is clean and spacious, and has everything you could possibly need, the cupboards and drawers had every pot, pan and utensil that you need in a kitchen, the coffee maker and Nespresso pods was a nice touch along with the welcome gifts on arrival. The garden is huge and secure and well lit at night. Unfortunately, we had snow whilst we were there and although it looked extra beautiful it did restrict the use of the patio area and the hot tub although the hot tub looked very warm and welcoming, we also didn't make use of the garden room but again it had so many books, CDs and board games and a dart board which would be enough to keep any family happy for a week. The 2 log burners (Kitchen/Diner & Living room) were nice on the cold snowy evenings. There was so much around the area to see and do and plenty of cafes and pubs if you want to eat out and although the cottage is off the beaten track, you are not far from the main roads to Horncastle and Skegness. Having stayed at many cottages throughout the uk, Jolls is definitely up there as one of the best we have stayed at.

There was everything we needed, it was like going from home to home. Made plenty of use of all the board games and the hot tub. We took our 2 dogs and they settled really well and loved running in the garden. Very safe and secure so was no worries about them escaping. Great communication with the owner too. Thank you

The location is in a lovely quiet and idilic Hamlet location and the cottage has a lovely old cottage feel to it which is decorated and furnished tastefully, also well stocked and has bedrooms and living space which is are very comfortable. The garden has plenty of space for our dogs and although we did not use it has a great addition which is a well stocked playhouse. Overall we had a most enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend this cottage to other families.
