While some guests found the location convenient for exploring nearby towns and appreciated the rural charm, others noted the proximity to a busy road. The cottage's comfort is generally well-regarded, though the steep stairs and low beams were a concern for some. Facilities are adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, but the absence of an oven was a disappointment to one guest.
Guests consistently noted the cottage was extremely clean and well maintained, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The location received mixed reviews; some guests appreciated the rural setting and proximity to local attractions, while others were concerned about the busy road and noise.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a wood-burning stove and comfortable beds. However, steep stairs and low beams were mentioned as potential discomforts.
Facilities were generally found to be good, with a well-equipped kitchen and easy-to-use shower. However, the lack of an oven and the size of the microwave were points of dissatisfaction.
Many guests mentioned thoughtful extras provided by the hosts, such as milk, biscuits, and a lit log fire. While these gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
