This lovely one bedroomed barn conversion is ideal for for adults looking for a quiet break close to the coast and the small seaside town of Sutton on Sea, well known for its award-winning sandy beaches. This is the perfect getaway for those who love to get out and about! On-site there is a touring site for adults only, and two coarse fishing lakes with fishing included in your stay.
Just over a mile from the beach, where a walk along the promenade takes you north to Mablethorpe and south to Sandilands, your furry friend will absolutely love the walk! There is also a variety of shops, restaurants, takeaway and bars to enjoy, who doesn’t love chips by the sea?!
Donna Nook seal breeding grounds are very popular to visit, with around 200 seal pups born each year, and you will also sometimes see them at Sutton on Sea just offshore or even sunbathing on the beach.
Inland are the market towns of Alford, about a 10-minute drive, and Louth, about 30 minutes’ drive, both with a range of shops and regular markets. Louth is well known for its range of small food shops selling local produce as well as three markets a week, the perfect shopping experience for the designated chef to show off their talent. Good walks and cycle routes throughout the area with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches to stroll along. Shops, pub, restaurant and beach 1.4 miles.

Truly magical. We hadn’t been away for almost a decade and we definitely chose the right place. The cottage is lovely and situated in a beautiful, countryside setting. It was so peaceful and a couple of my favourite things were sitting outside on the enclosed patio, watching the sunrise and in the evening, sitting out star gazing. We’re never get to see that many stars in our location! Anne, the owner is lovely and friendly but not in an overbearing way. We were left alone and saw very few people which was perfect to help us reset from our busy lives. The hamper that was provided was generous and the complimentary plum bread is lovely. The cottage is situated between Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea and once you get used to the roads it becomes shockingly easy to get from a to b. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will definitely be returning.

The cottage is small and is comfortable ideal for couples how don’t mind not having a vacuum cleaner to clean up after themselves, the washer was lovely to have but you couldn’t open the draw as where is it’s hard to get the draw open , overall the cottage is lovely and central for the little village of Sutton on sea which has most of your amenities, shame the owners didn’t come round to introduce themselves all the time we stay we never saw anyone else but one of the campers that was staying at the same time as us .
